On the occasion of the organization of a seminar presided over by Mr. Aziz Rabbah, Minister in charge of Equipment, Transportation and Logistics, titled “Air Freight: the Potentialities of the Sector and its Development Prospects,” a partnership agreement bearing on the promotion of air freight in Morocco over the period spanning 2016-2020 was concluded by several stakeholders.

The signatories of this agreements –namely, the Ministry in charge of Equipment, Transportation and Logistics ; the Moroccan Agency for the Development of Logistics; the National Airports Office; Royal Air Maroc (the national carrier); Portnet PLC; the General Administration of Customs and Excise; the General Confederation of Companies in Morocco; and CGEM’s Transportation Federation—aspire to shore up a framework of collaboration with a view to undertake a whole range of actions designed to propel this sector in Morocco.

AMDL actively participated in this seminar, notably through a presentation made by Mr. Younes Tazi, General Manager of the Moroccan Agency for the Development of Logistics, who surveyed the main projects being undertaken in the framework of the National Logistical Strategy, noting that these projects hold a strong synergy with the development of freight in Morocco.
