National Master Plan

The creation of an integrated national network of logistic areas, which is the cornerstone of the national logistics strategy, contributes to facing many problems related mainly to the absence of a logistical offer suitable for the needs of economic actors, as well as the observed random spread of logistic warehouses in Morocco.

In this context, the Moroccan Agency for Logistics Development has begun, in close cooperation with its partners, to design regional logistics plans in order to plan and structure logistics areas projects conforming to the logistics needs identifided in all the regions of Morocco.

The National Strategy for Logistics Competitiveness has set up an integrated national network for logistics areas (Integrated National Master Plan for Logistics Areas) to cover the twelve regions of the Kingdom. By the year 2030, it will have been extended over a 3300 Ha global area.

Land necessary for the developement of logistics areas by 2030

This network will consist of logistics platforms, while bearing in mind the land planning aspects (Urban congestion, Urban Development Master Plans), and sustainable development (cities pollution).

In order to provide the property necessary for setting up this network and to guarantee, therefore, the regions’ logistics perspectives, the Agency “AMDL” has worked closely with the various territories, to manage this dynamic of logistics zone development within the framework of the related regional schemes and the definition of the first logistics zone projects to be developed in the regions.
