The International Federation of Freight–Forwarders’ Associations (FIATA) pays tribute to Morocco in its latest publication, dated December 2015, through a cover page and a two page long article in the inner part.
Under the title Morocco—A Move Forward with the National Logistics Strategy, the prestigious association surveys the advances made by Morocco in the logistics sector and highlights investment opportunities afforded to private operators.
The file also deals with the participative approach adopted and the exemplary public-private partnership binding the Government with the Moroccan private sector for the implementation of this strategy.
Headquartered in Switzerland, the International Federation of Freight Forwarders’ Associations is a non-governmental organization which was set up in 1926. It gathers together a great number of associations and covers roughly 40,000 transportation and logistics companies operating in 150 countries.
Set up in 1998, the Association of Freight-forwarders in Morocco (AFFM), which is affiliated to CGEMs Transportation Federation, is an active member representing Morocco within FIATA. It purports to promote the development of the profession in Morocco.
